Silk Road Prints Limited Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all past, present and future contracts of service entered into between Silk Road Prints Limited and its customers.

The below information supplies our basic terms and conditions and returns policy. We advise reading before placing your order with us.

The Silk Road Prints Limited business address is 19 Alexandra Drive, Burnage, Manchester, M19 2WW. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12019882.

Before Service

There are steps we expect our customers to take before our services can be confirmed. We want all clients to:

- Supply licensed/original artwork or artwork being used with consent from the creator.

- Consider and check sizing when ordering for specific individuals.

- Read through your order and inform us immediately if any changes are needed.

- If an order is needed urgently or at short notice make us aware beforehand.

- Provide high quality images - be mindful additional costs may occur if an image requires editing.

Set Up Fees and Artwork Requirements

New designs we receive must be set up for printing, either on our direct to garment (DTG) printer, embroidery machine or transfer equipment. You will only be subject to this fee once per artwork. However, if you decide to alter the artwork you may be liable to paying for this service again.

We prefer our customers to supply finished, high quality artwork in vector format. If this is not possible, we are able to redraw images and low resolution graphics to achieve a suitable format. Bare in mind this service will have an additional charge.

Intellectual Property

When your artwork file is sent to us for reproduction, you are guaranteeing ownership or consent to use the image. If the artwork is reproduced and claims are made for breach of intellectual property rights by another party, you will be accountable for reimbursing us for all costs associated with this.

Silk Road Prints Limited will not share or pass on designs you supply us to print (unless given permission to post on our website or social media in which you will be tagged).

Accepting Digital Mock-Ups

Before we begin printing your design, we will contact you via email or whatsapp with a digital proof of your product. This is so you are able to see a finalised mock-up to check colours, sizing, placement and spelling are all correct.

When you have confirmed you are happy with the product, your decision will be finalised and we will begin producing your print. If you later realise that the proof is wrong after initially replying it was correct, you must inform us immediately. If production has started you will unfortunately be expected to pay for any printing and material costs due to your mistake.

Product Information

Our garments, stickers, banner materials and other fabrics are bought from respected and reputable providers.  We have access to an extensive range of stock and it can be explored using our website.

If an item of clothing you are interested in is unavailable or discontinued we will provide you with information on similar products.

The colour matching for our various printing methods have different accuracies.

- We will take care in picking the nearest thread colour available using our embroidery machine. Specific requirements regarding thread colour are subject to additonal charges, ie. to Pantone colour match

- Our direct to garment printer will attempt to match original colours with high similarity, artwork provided in RGB colours is best suited for this process

-Our vinyl transfer prints strive for complete accuracy but can not guarantee being 100% accurate, artwork provided in CMYK colours is best suited for this process

Our decoration is mainly carried out by machine and by hand and therefore minor variations in attributes like placement may be slightly different when comparing products in a large order. We pride ourselves in high quality printing, although we do not regard small differences as faults as it is sometimes unavoidable.

Order Cancellations, Additions and Returns

Once we begin making your order you may be charged if you decide to cancel. We usually ask for our services to be paid for when the order is initially confirmed for our protection if this occurs.

If you decide to alter an order (eg., the design, garment, type of print) we will try our best to accommodate any changes. Although, we urge customers to confirm all changes before production begins to avoid wasted materials and garments.

Personalised orders can not be returned unless faulty.

Product Completion

We pride ourselves on our quick service. Although some orders may require more time than others to complete. Therefore, make it apparent if it is needed in a hurry before you place your order. This is particularly important regarding bulk embroidery purchases.  We often have garments ready for collection within 3-5 business days upon payment of invoice.

Bare in mind we can not guarantee production will always meet deadlines due to possible machinery errors or supplier stock delays that would be out of our control.

Quantities

We welcome singular garment orders to bulk purchases. When buying in bulk, accept that garments may have variations in final design (as stated already in our Product Information section).

Bulk orders may subject you to cheaper costs per item compared to buying a singular item.

Pick Up and Delivery

Customers are able to pick up orders from our address but we also offer nationwide and international delivery. If you decide to collect an order, please do so during business hours unless weekend arrangements have been discussed with you personally. Call us directly or check our website for information regarding our opening times.

If delivery has been arranged, Silk Road Prints Limited can not be held responsible for any faults on behalf of delivery services. This includes: damaged parcels, delayed delivery and orders going missing on route to your address.

Payment

After speaking with you, you will receive confirmation and be expected to pay for our services before production begins.
